Chino is home to one of Southern California’s best-known public ranges, and Iron Oak Armory is about 13 miles north in San Dimas. We help Chino shooters find the right firearm, then send them to the range with the ammunition and gear to match.

How buying a firearm works for Chino residents
Because we are a California dealer, Chino customers complete the whole purchase with us in San Dimas. Plan on two short trips:
- Visit 1: choose your firearm (or order it online first), show your Firearm Safety Certificate and ID, and start your DROS background check. Bring proof of residency for a handgun.
- Visit 2: at least 10 days later, complete the safe handling demonstration and take it home.
Ammunition works differently in California: order online or in person and pick it up at the store after the state eligibility check. Bought a firearm somewhere else? We handle local transfers too. Full details are on our California Buyers page.
