Iron Oak Armory (“we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use ironoakarmory.com and our store, and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account and order details: name, email, phone, billing and shipping address, and order history.
- Compliance information: information required to complete firearm and ammunition orders under federal, state, and local law, such as your receiving dealer’s license, or a copy of a state permit or license when your state requires one for ammunition delivery.
- Messages and newsletter signups: what you send through our contact form, and your email address if you join our list.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar tools.
How we use it
- To process orders, transfers, and returns
- To confirm that orders can legally ship to you, and to meet record-keeping requirements for firearm and ammunition sales
- To answer your messages and send the newsletter you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To improve our website, measure our advertising, and prevent fraud
Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the store: our payment processor, shipping carriers, the licensed dealer you choose for a firearm transfer, our website host (WP Engine), WooCommerce services used to calculate sales tax, and government agencies when required by law. Our site uses the Reddit Pixel to measure advertising, which may collect usage data through cookies. We do not sell your personal information.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California and a growing number of other states, you may have the right to know what personal information we have collected, ask us to delete or correct it, and opt out of targeted advertising or any sale or sharing of your information. We honor these requests for all customers where we can, and we will not discriminate against you for making one. Some records, such as those required for firearm and ammunition sales, must be kept by law and cannot be deleted. To make a request, contact us.
